email I got that has some very good points

Im sorry, but after hearing they want
to sing OUR National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough!
Nowhere did they sing it in Italian,
Japanese, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German, Portuguese, Greek, French, or any other language because of immigration.

It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it
was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation - not even close.

Sorry if this offends anyone, but this is MY COUNTRY

IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY, SPEAK UP!

I am not against immigration - just come through like everyone else.

Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes;

live by the rules; and LEARN THE LANGUAGE

as all other immigrants have in the past and

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

PART OF THE PROBLEM

Think about this:
If you don't want to forward this
for fear of offending someone,
YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM!
Will we still be the Country of choice
and still be America if we continue
to make the changes forced on us by
people from other countries who came
to live in America because it is the
Country of Choice?

Think about it!
All we have to say is, when will
Someone do something about
MY RIGHTS?
We've gone so far the other way,
bent over backwards to not
offend anyone, that I am now
being offended.

But it seems no one has a problem with that.

It is Time for America to Speak up
If you agree - pass this along;
if you don't agree - Pass it on anyway!

Tex, you are my friend but you are starting to sound like that Swhicker guy, who loves to say things that are so full of holes, and then foam at the mouth when the truth comes at him...

the star spangled banner has been translated and sung in other languages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Star-Spangled_Banner

There is no "Language", only what people speak, and our people have always spoken many languages.. Spanish is one of them, especially in your nick of the woods... enjoy it, its a beautiful language, full of wit and sarcasm, truly wonderful...dont be afraid. these are your neighbors, they were there before we were. we moved in on them, not the other way around...

we moved in on them....so what...we are here now...If you want to take that stance then maybe we shold learn Navajo or Apache

So now I am offended by all of this and no one cares about my rights. No one cares what I have to say. Is it because I am a young white male, born and raised in the USA.

i am also white(almost young) male, born in the USA. that which affects you, affects me, no denying that.

But what exactly is the problem? if people spoke Navajo in the streets of LA or Houston, maybe i would learn some of it, so i could relate to the people i live with...

There is nothing wrong with English, its a great language, arguably the most used in the world. but its not the only language, its not a holy language, and it wont be around forever.. the language is what people speak...
