Marine
Worth the read...
A U.S.squad was marching north of Basra when they came
upon an Iraqi terrorist, badly injured and unconscious. On the
opposite side of the road was an American Marine in similar but less serious state.
The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men,
the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.
The Marine reported, "I was heavily armed and moving north
along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent.
We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road.
"I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein is a miserable, lowlife, scumbag,
and he yelled back
"Senator Ted Kennedy is a good-for-nothing,fat,left
wing liberal drunk."
So I said that Osama Bin Ladin dresses and acts like a frigid, mean spirited woman!"
He retaliated by yelling, "Oh yeah? Well so does Hillary Clinton!"
"And, there we were, standing in the middle of the road, shaking hands,
when a truck hit us."

Drinking
Valid reasons to why drinking should be allowed at work.
1. It's an incentive to show up.
2. It reduces stress
3. It leads to more honest communication
4. It reduces complaints about low pay
5. It cuts down on time off because you can work with a hangover.
6. Employees tell management what they think, not what management wants to hear.
7. It encourages carpooling.
8. Increases job satisfaction because if you have a bad job you don't care.
9. It eliminates vacation because people would rather come to work.
10. It makes fellow employees look better.
11. Bosses are more likely to hand out raises when they are wasted.
12. Salary negotiations are a lot more profitable
13. If someone does something stupid on the job, it will be quickly forgotten.

car problems
A man's car stalled on a country raod one morning. When the man got out to fix it, a cow came along and stopped beside him.
"Your trouble is probably in the carburetor," said the cow.
Startled, the man jumped back and ran down the road until he met a farmer.
The amazed man told the farmer his story.
"Was it a large red cow with a brown spot over the right eye?" asked the farmer.
"Yes, yes," the man replied.
"Oh! I wouldn't listen to Bessie," said the farmer. "She doesn't know a thing about cars."

I'm Tired
Ok so I haven't had a chance to post anything in a while. I am tired of posting and reading about all the political crap. The republicans do this, the Dems to that, Bush did this, New Orleans will be chocolate(Nagin is an idiot), blah blah blah who cares....just tired of that crap. So here are a few thoughts about other stuff.
Had fun hunting at Lake Houston. I didn't see a damn thing but it was nice to get away from everything for a while. When you don't see crap in the deer stand for 2 days it gives you plenty of time to think about all sorts of stuff. Life, love, work, past, future, etc. It was actually realy relaxing.
My wifey and I will be celebrating our fist anniversary on Feb 19th. Wow has it been a year already. Time flys when you are having fun. It has been an eventful year. We will be heading to Philadelphia to visit her sister and do some sight seeing. I haven't been up to that area since I was a kid visiting realitives in Buffalo, NY.
The house is coming along ok. Still have crap in boxes. My master plan for my gardens in the back yard are coming together. You might think that it is strange that a man like me likes to garden but I enjoy it. After all that work and you see the perfect rose start to bloom it is all worth it. Very relaxing and a sense of accomplishment. I have picked out the ten rose bushes I will be planting. I will have to special order most of these as you cannot find them in the local stores. All of them are Hybrid Tea roses (classic rose you see in floral shops). All have about 35 pedals per flower. Here is the list.
St. Patrick - yellow but under right conditions can have a green flower.
Veterans Honor - Classic Red
Party Time - yellow with bright pink tips
Bing Crosby or Spice Twice - Bright orange
Houston - the "Yellow Rose of Texas"
Irish Cream - cream/coffee
Royal Amethyst - Purple (for my wifey since that is her favorite color)
WW II Memorial - white/grey
Nancy Reagan - peach
Mom's Rose - Pink
Once they all come in it will be nice. Thinking about doing the stone border around the rose bed but that can get expensive and hard work. Think I will do it anyway.
Ok so enough of my rambling today.

Just a few things
I have been having a hard time posting things. I guess my computer is tired or just doesn't like me.
Anyway I will be out for a few days deer hunting with my cousin. If I don't get a deer or even see one then I will be hanging up my deer hunting interest. I will continue to bird hunt as that is what I love most along with fishing.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Later.
