I'm Tired

Ok so I haven't had a chance to post anything in a while. I am tired of posting and reading about all the political crap. The republicans do this, the Dems to that, Bush did this, New Orleans will be chocolate(Nagin is an idiot), blah blah blah who cares....just tired of that crap. So here are a few thoughts about other stuff.

Had fun hunting at Lake Houston. I didn't see a damn thing but it was nice to get away from everything for a while. When you don't see crap in the deer stand for 2 days it gives you plenty of time to think about all sorts of stuff. Life, love, work, past, future, etc. It was actually realy relaxing.

My wifey and I will be celebrating our fist anniversary on Feb 19th. Wow has it been a year already. Time flys when you are having fun. It has been an eventful year. We will be heading to Philadelphia to visit her sister and do some sight seeing. I haven't been up to that area since I was a kid visiting realitives in Buffalo, NY.

The house is coming along ok. Still have crap in boxes. My master plan for my gardens in the back yard are coming together. You might think that it is strange that a man like me likes to garden but I enjoy it. After all that work and you see the perfect rose start to bloom it is all worth it. Very relaxing and a sense of accomplishment. I have picked out the ten rose bushes I will be planting. I will have to special order most of these as you cannot find them in the local stores. All of them are Hybrid Tea roses (classic rose you see in floral shops). All have about 35 pedals per flower. Here is the list.
St. Patrick - yellow but under right conditions can have a green flower.
Veterans Honor - Classic Red
Party Time - yellow with bright pink tips
Bing Crosby or Spice Twice - Bright orange
Houston - the "Yellow Rose of Texas"
Irish Cream - cream/coffee
Royal Amethyst - Purple (for my wifey since that is her favorite color)
WW II Memorial - white/grey
Nancy Reagan - peach
Mom's Rose - Pink

Once they all come in it will be nice. Thinking about doing the stone border around the rose bed but that can get expensive and hard work. Think I will do it anyway.

Ok so enough of my rambling today.

I'm out
